Not the best day, not the worst. Went with SIL to take Zach Man to speech therapy so that when they're gone doing their week long autism training, I'll know where to take him. I could've gotten directions and done it that way, but that's ok. Just that I wasn't feeling wonderful to begin with. Now Ms. C says she has a sore throat and I hope it doesn't get worse for her. PuffsPlusAB00 has got the runny nose thing but it doesn't seem to be much more than that.
Just been sick and feeling like shit. And no rest. No spouse means no rest. We take Alan to work and then go straight to cheerleading probably until 3pm and it's still non-stop RedBullABoo from there. In normal circumstances Alan would be there for back-up, but since he's working open to close, he's just not home. Ever. Oooo, one day off.
Alan worked open to close and I'm just sure the new guy just loves this for some fucked up reason and now he's at the store getting stuff for tomorrow. Alan hasn't said anything, but this new guy leaves a lot to be desired in my mind because he seems to take some sadistic pleasure in working Alan and probably the other guy to see when they'll break. I'm sure he's looking forward to it. I have no doubt Al Qaidan Ass Clown is just waiting for that moment. Why else would the sick son of a bitch be looking for trouble?
An employee wants to make the schedule work for their family situation, the attitude is "Fuck 'em." Fuck the employees. Alan is working yet another open to close tomorrow. And new guy seems to like it that way. Because you choose to spend your life a certain way doesn't mean that your other employees want to.
Fuck him, say the people at Games W. We give a shit not if you work and don't see your family. In fact, we'd love it if you burn yourself out because we don't have a great reason to get rid of you, aside from your wife's journaling, which is really her opinion but we're creepy son's of bitch's for seeking it out. We have nothing better to do than do searches to find out if we can get something on our employees. We're bordering on harassing here, but anything we can do to make your life more miserable, we'll do it because we're GW! We'll treat you like a human if you are swaggering jerk off's and imbellish how great you are. Guy's with long term plans need not apply.
I shit you not, at this place if someone expresses concern over something new or they don't like how things are going, literally it is said "ok, let him go." And that's it. Great way to run a company. I didn't much like PBC at times, but someone was having trouble they took a moment of "training opportunity".
